A ground that in many ways seems a little too grand for the lower Ryman's league levels yet in others is a little past its sell by date.
The main stand is truly charismatic. A good sized stand with railings in front that look more like a racecourse or a cricket ground. Good areas of open terracing lie in front and to both sides. There is a small car park out the front behind the stand. The ground itself is in the small town of Aveley in Essex barely a mile from Thurrock's ground. To reach it you must go down a little lane.
The remainder of the ground is mostly uncovered single level terracing other than a smallish covered stand opposite the main stand. Around the ground one can see a collection of residential houses, fields and maybe a factory. Mostly the ground is enclosed by ugly concrete walls that turn wooden behind one goal.
