Banbury Stadium

A truly gorgeous stadium with current capacity of 6,500. The ground was built in 1933. The ground lies fairly central in Banbury near the railway station at the end of an awful potholed road! As one enters the ground behind the goal there is very decent terracing most of which is covered. The far side of the ground has terracing that extends about half way along and then gives way to open grass banking. All of which is uncovered. White metal railings and a small area of tarmac separate the pitch from the grass banks. Decent open terracing lies behind the opposite goal. There is a small main stand with concrete covered single layer terracing on each side of it together with a mixture of portacabins that have various facilities. For season 2004-5 the club currently play in the Southern Premier (Doc Martens) division.
