Holloway Park

This excellent little ground sits just off junction 2 of the M 40. The club has progressed up the non-league ladder over the last 20 years and does harbour ideas of Ryman's league status. Currently they play in the Minerva Spartan south midlands league premier.
the ground although having a capacity of 3000 has a record crowd of 300.
The ground is enclosed by wooden fencing and has a single main stand that sits alongside the pitch. Behind one goal there is the clubhouse which then extends to provide covered terracing. As you can see from the photographs there is some sort of building works going on so maybe things have expanded. Other than this essentially it is single level terracing all around the ground. A sad story is that in 2000 the main stand was extended and then the extension had to be demolished due to the demands of the local council because for some reason it was a matter of concern that the new extension could be seen from the slough Road. I am sure that very many worse things can be seen from the Slough road than any extension to the stand.
