A very impressive ground both from the outside and inside. As a ground it is superb. The problem that it has is that so much of the atmosphere that used to be present at Burnden Park, has gone. Mainly this is because the fans are so much further away and sit at the back of the stands. It is impossible due to the laws of physics to create the sounds when fans are also high up. Furthermore, their is a large gap between the stands and the pitch. Bolton are trying to address this problem by having "singing stands". All my comments above also apply to Wigan's new ground the JJB stadium.
