This ground has really been improved over the last 2 years and is almost unrecognizable. I like it although the facilities for away fans are the worst that I have come across in the whole league. It is not necessary to give the away fans half of the terracing and no seats and equally unnecessary to put volatile home fans in the other half of the terracing. I am sure that now that might not happen in every game but this was the case when I saw the game with Brentford. Frankly it is asking for trouble. On a positive note, excellent car parking and a good site for the ground, well out of town. 

There are four very different stands and that is always something to be appreciated. Behind one goal ( and I mis-spelt that as gaol at first - freudian slip?) there is that infamous terracing divided down the middle by fencing of the sort that one sees in zoos and this is to separate the two sets of fans. Taking a positive view at least away fans do have the option to indeed stand and do not out of necessity have to purchase highly expensive seats. At the opposite end there is an all-seater stand , small but adequate. The main stand has a smaller seated area at the front ( where I guess terracing used to prevail) and the main bank of seats behind. The opposite stand has a reasonable area of terracing in front of its bank of seats and gives superb views.

On balance I like this ground as it has been improved and yet retains something of its atmosphere from days gone by.
