Curzon Ashton

Once in a while one gets lucky with the light when photographing football grounds and this set of photos might rank as one of the best that I have taken. The ground is a curious affair. It is made to look far bigger than it really is because the single main stand backs onto a factory building that looks not unlike a football stand! You can see the same sort of thing at Maidenhead. Opposite the main stand there is a small covered stand towards the corner area but the remainder of the ground is just metal railings to separate the pitch with concrete covered ground.
