Not sure why they are not called "Northfleet", because that is where the ground is sitting on a roundabout. This was a real surprise finding a ground that is clearly too good for Rymans league standard and indeed not too far away from football league standard of a few years ago. I really like this ground and will enjoy returning to watch a game. It is situated in the industrial area of Northfleet, so no trees or country views here. Usual main stand and terracing on 3 sides, but decent terracing and covered stands. The terracing goes back a long way behind one goal, and that is what is reminiscent of league grounds. Indeed it reminds me of the old Brook road terracing at Brentford before they knocked it down to build houses there. I am glad that Gravesend have not done so. This ground is well worth a visit for the real football supporter.

As of season 2002-3 Gravesend are in the conference and Dartford (Doc Maartens League) groundshare with them as their tenants.
