Harlow Sports Centre

One of the grounds that it was not possible to access outside of a match day. And as such forced me to take a series of shots from outside the ground. Notwithstanding this the ground is a pleasant small non-league ground. There is a single main seater stand that maybe holds 250. This stand has been in place since 1972 and then cost £15,000. Otherwise the only additional stand is a covered area of terrace that lies opposite the main stand. This was erected in 1998 for the dubious reason that it needed to be done so as to comply with the Isthmian League ground-grading rules. An athletics track runs around the outside of the pitch and spectators look as though they have the option of standing all around the pitch. The current capacity is allegedly 10,000 though this seems excessive in reality. The ground was opened in 1960. The club play in the Southern League Eastern Division in 2004-5.
