Tameside Stadium

A decent ground where Man City were playing their reserve games in 2003. A proper little football ground is this! The main stand is instantly identifiable from the unusually shaped flood lights on its roof that are almost triangular. The main stand is a decent size and has an area of covered terracing to one side of it. Each goal has covered terracing with a covered stand alongside the opposite side of the ground. Although a small ground it looks like it should be hosting Division3 (or as it is now called League 2 football). The current capacity is stated as 4000 but that looks somewhat lower than one might have thought.
