The "theatre of
dreams" as the announcer said. A huge stadium. To be at the top of the East stand makes the pitch and players seem more like a playstation game than the real
thing. Yet to be lower makes the ground real once again. There is more character in this ground than it has any right to
have. For no sane reason it also reminded me a little of Bristol City's ground.
The capacity is 67,000 yet it does seem smaller or to put it another way it does not appear twice the size of White Hart
Lane, St Mary's nor the Riverside. I went expecting not to like the ground but came away liking it a
lot. Cannot say that for the announcer though!
