Christie Park

A splendid conference ground and one that might see League football in the next decade. Current capacity is 6,300 but looks larger. Behind one goal there is an excellent large area of covered terrace that looks not unlike the new stand at Exeter City and holds around 2000 souls. Behind the other goal is a more old-fashioned covered terrace that is reminiscent of many lower league grounds. A large old-fashioned seater stand dominates the remainder of the ground. This stand was built in 1962 and is a precise copy of the main stand at Cheltenham. But along the opposite side of the ground there is nothing other than single level terracing thus making the ground almost a 3-sided ground.
