Home Park

Home Park has now been three quarters renovated with only the old main stand to remind anyone of the old windswept ground.
The ground really is situated in a park. It is surrounded by free car parks and if you feel energetic it is only just over half a mile to walk there from the railway station or from the Copthorne hotel ( which I recommend- ask if you want to know how I got cheap rates there!).
Lovely ground in short. There is a huge U-shaped new part to the ground that is modern and comfortable. Reminds me of Hull City. I in fact found nothing wrong with the ground!
The old stand remains with its terracing at the front with seats behind. For some reason it was fairly full too. Maybe there is a pricing differential with the old and new parts? Maybe nostalgia. One of the photos shows an artists impression of how the finished ground will look.
