Pleasant and old fashioned ground that reminds me of real football from the 1970's. A main stand on one side that looks as though someone got bored and decided that one half of the stand would look nothing like the other with covered terracing opposite. Behind one goal some fenced in terracing that away fans benefit from and behind the other just open terracing the back of which rather interestingly is a school! Trees and church spires all around the ground give it a permanently autumnal feel. The ground of course lies next to the river and for many years a man was paid to sit in a boat and retrieve the balls that had ventured into the water.
