Roots Hall

Another of the grounds that sooner rather than later will be sold off for development. The flats behind the goal get an excellent view. A proper football ground in all aspects. Four very different stands and I could not work out how many separate entrances there were to the ground. The away end has a few rows of seats at the front which are in a "pit", around 3 feet below pitch level. Bring a periscope if you are given seating there. This ground reminds me of Aldershot's ground for some odd reason. Finally, when taking night photos it is easy to compare the strength of the floodlights as one gets better focusing capacity. These lights are maybe the worst in the league, in my humble opinion, with Swansea close behind.
