A gorgeous foggy day when I got to take these photos. A real north of England feel to the place. There is a small but very charismatic stand holding maybe 100 seats on one side of the ground. Behind one goal there is some covered terracing but otherwise the ground remains open terracing all around with only limited metal railings separating the pitch from spectators. The capacity of 6000 seems a little generous here. This together with the ground at Buxton represents the highest ground in the UK. Floodlights arrived here in 1992! The team play in the Northern League.
