A very decent Unibond ground made even better by the enthusiasm of club secretary Carole. I popped in to get these photos and she kindly gave me a rundown on the club history and recent events that have led to them reaching the first round of the FA cup in 2002-3 season for the first time in their history. The ground is tidy and pleasant with a £ 400,000 astroturf pitch next to it which league clubs including Tranmere use. Capacity apparently can extend to 1800. There is a main stand on one side with a covered terraced stand opposite. The remainder of the ground is pitchside terracing. Decent car parking facilities are combined with a large pub right outside the ground. The club are based just outside Ellesmere Port in Cheshire on the Wirral and are within striking distance from both Tranmere and Chester.
