This is a rugby league ground which the old Emley club have come into and share at the start of 2000-1 season. You can see photos of the old Emley ground in the disused grounds section of the website. A lovely ground none the less. Along one side of the ground there is an old long main stand vintage 1924. Huge expanses of open terracing are behind one goal and these sweep around along the whole of one side of the pitch. Behind the other goal there is a curious affair that looks like a block of flats but I think is a clubhouse and executive boxes that must be frequented by the rugby league sorts. The football club get crowds of around 150-200 so not so many executive boxes needed. I saw a great game here one night and have affection for this ground. The walls that sweep around the ground on the outside do look like grounds from long ago. Current capacity is 11,000.
